Show & Shine – Forged Development Track Day

Don't feel like going on the track but still wanna be part of the fun?! Show off your ride in style with our Show & Shine ticket at the Forged Development Track Day! This exclusive pass includes VIP trackside parking inside the venue, reserved for Show & Shine entries only — perfect for displaying your pride and joy alongside other standout builds. You'll also get a 15-minute on-track session, giving you a taste of the Manfeild Circuit Chris Amon in your own vehicle.

But that's not all — all Show & Shine entrants will be in the running for three awards:

• Best Stance
• Best Engine Bay
• Sponsor’s Choice – a special prize from our event sponsors

Whether you're in it to win or just want to be part of the atmosphere, this is your chance to shine both on and off the track!

Competitor Information:

WOF or Reg aren't required, however 3rd Party insurance is preferred as Forged Development Limited and PlayDay on Track takes no liability for any damages or loss at the event.

What you need to bring: (You will not be allowed on track without the minimum safety requirments)

- Driver’s license

- Overalls (minimum 1 layer Cotton)

- Closed top shoes

- Helmet

Not mandatory however highly recommended:

- Neck Restraints/Hans device

- Fire extinguisher

No passengers unless a full MSNZ approved caged. (Expect in familiarization laps for non-caged vehicles)

Passengers wishing to go in a caged car must sign an indemnity form available from the documentation/registration area.

Garage sheds are on a first come, first serve basis.

Pitlane Garages are available for hire, limited available for purchase along with your ticket.

Vehicle Safety:

Participants are responsible for ensuring their car is safe. This includes:

- No fluid leaks (oil, fuel, coolant, brake fluid)

- Brakes in good working condition with sufficient pad material

- Tires in good health

- Lug nuts torqued to spec; all must be present

- Battery securely mounted

- Seat belts or harnesses in working condition

- No loose items inside the vehicle (tools, bottles, etc.)

You will be asked to sign a self-tech form during registration.

On-Track Rules:

- Passing allowed only in designated zones (straights) and with ownership on the driver overtaking to execute a safe pass.

- No hard-overtaking under braking/corners.

- Yield to faster vehicles; use mirrors frequently.

- If you spin or leave the track, rejoin only when safe or return to the pits.

- When on track, do not leave your vehicle unless if fire.

- Aggressive driving, unsafe behaviour, or reckless manoeuvres (e.g., drifting, tailgating) will result in ejection from the event.

- Obey all flag signals and track officials immediately.

- Pitlane Speed limit: 10 kph

- No tire burnouts, speeding, or aggressive driving in paddock/pit areas.

Weather Policy:

- Track day runs rain or shine unless deemed unsafe by organizers.

- Participants must adjust driving style to suit conditions.

Liability Disclaimer:

- All participants must sign a waiver of liability.

- You are responsible for any damage you cause to your vehicle, other vehicles, or track property.

- The track and organizers are not liable for injuries, mechanical failures, or accidents.

Refunds:

There are no refunds but you can transfer your entry to someone else (You can do this via contacting us directly)

Advertising release:

As a condition of entry, each entrant for themselves, as agent for accompanying adult and as parent or guardian for an accompanying child, grant the event promoter, Forged Development Limited, the exclusive right to photograph, video or film, or portrayal without names or credits as the event promoter may in their absolute discretion think fit.
