Description

The University of Auckland School of Music presents acclaimed clarinetist and Seelye Fellow Franklin Cohen in recital.

Principal Clarinet of The Cleveland Orchestra for 39 seasons, Franklin Cohen has distinguished himself as one of the outstanding clarinetists of his generation. His playing has been described as “hypnotic, impeccable, brilliant…with a vocal quality that would be the envy of any singer.”

This special recital is the culmination of Cohen's two week residency at the School of Music, made possible by generous funding from the Seelye Charitable Trust.


FREE Admission. Seating is unallocated. Online ticket registration unavailable from 30mins prior to the start of the concert.

Wheelchair accessible via the side entrance to the School of Music foyer on Charles Nalden Lane.
