The team from Mātātoa - Time 2 Train will lead you through on shore drills where you will learn some basic reo (M`āori language), and tikanga (Māori customary practices) in preparation for the unique experience of paddling a waka.
All ages are welcome, and even the little ones can sit between older participants, and are not required to paddle, however, all those aged 7+ are expected to paddle.
