The Ministry of Education and Using Technology Better (UTB) invite you to a Zoom webinar: From Change Management to True Transformation, presented by Mike Reading and Karla Sanders, UTB.

Schools tell us that creating meaningful change is difficult. It often feels like moving from one thing to another without building any real traction. Change management tends to focus on a single change but true transformation takes place when a group of initiatives are planned for through an effective framework.

At UTB we utilise a framework including seven essential elements that Google, Apple and Microsoft agree leads to true transformation using technology as a lever.

Schools can use these elements alongside the MOE’s ELPF (eLearning Planning Framework) to build a strong foundation from which PLD will make a meaningful impact for both kaiako and akonga.

Whether you are developing your Digital Fluency to engage, motivate, differentiate and share learning; building out your Local Curriculum or assessment for learning practices, this webinar shares the importance of a clear framework exploring elements from vision to resources (and what will occur if any of these are missing).

Feedback from our schools has shown the impact a transformation framework has had in shifting practice and we are excited to share this approach with others.

These sessions will be relevant to teachers, leaders, principals, tumuaki, kaiako, PLD Leads, PLD facilitators, PLD provider organisations, and regional office Ministry staff.
