About this event

Get up close to historic objects, such as the pen used by then-Prime Minister Williams Massey to sign the Treaty of Versaille, as well as newer acquisitions such as the contemporary artwork Poupou Matikiho, by Tauranga Moana-based artists Kereama Taepa. This tour outlines how the Parliamentary Collection has evolved over time, through changing approaches to collecting and acquiring artworks and objects, and how this reflects the changes to Aotearoa's parliament, and New Zealand's place in the world.
