Join the Fujifilm community in celebrating photography in the lead-up to World Photo Day (19 August)!

From 10–19 August 2025, we’re bringing together image makers of all levels for a series of community events across the motu. Come along for photo walks, camera chats, creative inspiration and the chance to connect with like-minded people. Everyone’s welcome. See you there!

Sunrise photo shoot followed by Artist talks and breakfast in Ōtautahi Christchurch

JM Beltran (@jmsubs) is a Wellington-based photographer who focuses on landscapes, nature, and the night sky, capturing mountains, stars, and the colours of the outdoors through hiking and exploring remote places. His style is both practical and rich, always aiming to let nature take center stage.He has recently been a finalist for the 2024 Australian Photographer of the Year, Top Emerging Photographer of the Year 2024, and The Landscape Awards 2025. He also volunteers with a local conservation group to stay closely connected to the environments he photographs.In his talk, “Shoot What You Love”, he shares how following your interests and focusing on what matters to you can help shape your voice and direction as a photographer."

Dice Sales (@dicesales) is a Filipino-born New Zealand photographer based in Christchurch. He began his photography journey in 2015, starting with landscapes and travel before moving into lifestyle and wedding photography.

His work has been recognized in competitions such as New Zealand Geographic, "Born In Film" Photo Nation International, Sigma D-Photo Magazine, and NZ Photographer EXCIO. He has also collaborated with tourism platforms including ChristchurchNZ and Enjoy Illinois, and contributes to Truestock NZ.

Recently, Dice has expanded into creating videos and short films, sharing his knowledge and passion for photography with a wider audience.

In his presentation, he will talk about the benefits and beauty of "Photographing locally."
