Photography doesn’t start with your settings. It starts with light.Join us for a relaxed photo walk with Fujifilm brand ambassadors Michelle and Hemi Phillips from Patina Photo, open to anyone keen to get more confident with their camera and how they see the world.

We’ll explore the shifting moods of natural light—sunny,cloudy, soft or harsh—and show you how to create images with whatever weather and light we get on the day. No pressure, just a chance to slow down, observe, and practise seeing light in a new way.

Michelle and Hemi have been shooting weddings professionally in Wellington for over 12 years, and are well used to making magic in unpredictable weather. This walk is about working with what’s already around you—light, shadow, movement, mood.

Whether you’re just starting out or looking to reconnect with your creative side, come along for some fresh perspective and a relaxed afternoon with fellow photography lovers.

Bring your own camera (and weather-appropriate layers—we’ll be heading out into the Wellington winter)
