Fundamentals of building financially resilient kids
Event Information
About this event
Our children are constantly being bombarded with conflicting messages about what it is they need. They also see and hear us talking about money on many occasions, but what do they really know about making good financial decisions, and were we as parents ever actually taught it ourselves?
In a time where the future has perhaps never looked so uncertain - it’s more important than ever that we’re equipping the next generation with the tools they need to be financially resilient.
Money touches most aspects of our lives and it is imperative that as parents we have that conversation with our children on what a healthy relationship with money looks like, and we also need to teach them some of the basics of the mechanics of how money works!
This fast paced and informative 1 hour webinar will features two stellar speakers - both incredibly engaging and ready to bring some zest and energy to such an important subject. Both Carissa and Kendall will provide us with so much to think about, such as:
• How do we talk to kids about money
• How we financially role model at home
• Encouraging enterprise at home: how we look at pocket money and the concept of delayed gratification
• The importance of financial education from a literary/research perspective
• The challenges of financial education in 2022 and beyond
• Some practical ways to ensure our kids are equipped with the financial education they need to prepare them for the next chapter.
This is going to be one high impact, informative and fantastic webinar NOT TO BE MISSED…. Block the time in your diary right now and PLEASE register so that we can send you the link the week of the webinar!! 😉
