During the event, you will have the opportunity to discuss with two current medical students, Alicia & Dan about tips & tricks to get into medical school!
Alicia is a current MedView tutor. She achieved a 96 percentile on the UMAT OP2 - 98.10 ATAR / OPI 99.10 with bonus ranks in 2018 when she graduated from Brisbane Girls Grammar School. She is now studying a Bachelor of Science with provisional entry to the Doctor of Medicine at UQ. Alicia enjoys reading, taekwondo and spending time with her friends.
Dan is currently a medical student at The University of Sydney Medical School. As well as placing in the top 10% in his MD cohort, Daniel scored in the 99.9th percentile on the Graduate Australian Medical Schools Admissions Test (GAMSAT). Outside of clinical medicine, Daniel researches the role of monoclonal antibody cancer therapy in the onset of heart failure within the University of Queensland Faculty of Medicine, and volunteers with United Nations Youth Australia to get high school students engaged in geopolitics and international relations.
