Getting Started with Digital Technologies Curriculum, Years 0-4 (Hamilton)

About this Event
Students at years 0-4 can access the Computational Thinking aspects of the Digital Technologies | Hangarau Matihiko curriculum through a series of games and thinking activities. Most of the work for years 0-4 is not device-based.
This course introduces these activities as well as spending time familiarising teachers with the terminology of the new curriculum area. It is intended for teachers and leaders at year 0-8 schools that are brand new to the idea of computational thinking. Topics covered include:
- algorithmic thinking
- debugging
- binary numbers
- sequencing
- loops
This course is almost entirely practical, and participants will be able to take several learning activities back to school.

Course cost : $160 + GST per person, per course.
