The Digital Technologies | Hangarau Matihiko learning area has been launched, and will need to be embedded in all New Zealand classrooms from the start of 2020.

This course is an introduction to the learning area and is intended for teachers and leaders at year 0-8 schools that are brand new to the idea of computational thinking.

It covers:

  • algorithmic thinking
  • debugging
  • binary numbers
  • sequencing
  • loops

The course is almost entirely practical, and participants will be able to take several learning activities back to school.

Course cost : $125 + GST per person, per course.
