Join the Petal Foundation for a Day of Art at Gibbs Farm Sculpture Park
Help us raise funds to provide short-term emergency care for vulnerable newborns by spending a memorable day at the stunning Gibbs Farm Sculpture Park.
Located on 400 hectares of open-air farmland along the Kaipara Harbour, Gibbs Farm is home to an extraordinary collection of large-scale, site-specific artworks by some of the world’s most renowned artists including Anish Kapoor, Sol Le Wit and Richard Serra. This privately owned park offers a unique opportunity to explore art and nature at your own pace.
What to Expect:
Self-Guided Tour: Wander the park at your leisure. A site map / sculpture guide booklet will be provided on arrival.
Stunning Views & Artworks: Discover world-class sculptures and enjoy breathtaking views of the harbour from a range of perspectives.
Exotic Animals: The farm has many resident animals, including giraffes and emus!
Visitor Information:
Duration: Allow 2–3 hours to complete the walk.
What to Bring: Comfortable walking shoes, a jacket or coat, sunscreen and a water bottle are recommended.
Terrain: The route includes both rolling farmland and paved roadways. A moderate level of fitness is required (Note: The terrain may be challenging for strollers).
Facilities: Toilets (Portaloos) are available at both carparks: 2421 Kaipara Coast Highway and Barr Road. An accessible 7-block toilet facility is located at the Giraffe House.
Food & Drink: Picnics are welcome! There will also be a coffee cart and sushi truck on site.

Please note:
- There are 2 entrance gates, 2421 Kaipara Coast Highway and Barrs Road. Please park at the Barrs Road entrance.
- Please show your ticket to our staff at the gates upon arrival.
- No charge for kids under 3.

- There are large lakes and ponds that will require supervision of children, as will encounters with various animals at several locations on the property.
- The event will still go ahead if it is raining.
- All funds raised from ticket sales will go directly to the Petal Foundation to support vulnerable newborns (www.petal.foundation).
