Gibbs Farm - Sculpture Park Fundraiser

Join us for a day of art and nature at Gibbs Farm's Sculpture Park Fundraiser! Located at 2421 Kaipara Coast Highway, this in-person event promises a unique experience surrounded by stunning sculptures and beautiful landscapes. Explore the private sculptures and animal park, mingle with friends, have a picnic, and support a great cause. Don't miss out on this opportunity to support The Brain Injury Assn Northland.

What to Expect:

Self-Guided Tour: Wander the park at your leisure. A site map / sculpture guide booklet will be provided on arrival.

Stunning Views & Artworks: Discover world-class sculptures and enjoy breathtaking views of the harbour from a range of perspectives.

Exotic Animals: The farm has many resident animals, including giraffes and emus!

Duration: Allow 2–3 hours to complete the walk.

What to Bring: Comfortable walking shoes, a jacket or coat, sunscreen and a water bottle are recommended.

Terrain: The route includes both rolling farmland and paved roadways. A moderate level of fitness is required (Note: The terrain may be challenging for strollers).

Facilities: Toilets are provided and clearly marked in the Gibbs Farm booklet.

Food & Drink: Picnics are welcome!


Please note:

  • Use the Main Entrance gates (2421 Kaipara Coast Highway)only.
  • Please show your ticket to our staff at the gates upon arrival.

  • There are large lakes and ponds that will require supervision of children, as will encounters with various animals at several locations on the property.
  • The event will still go ahead if it is raining.
  • All funds raised from ticket sales will go directly to The Brain Injury Association Northland.

Frequently asked questions

Access to Gibbs Farm and Parking

Access to Gibbs Farm is by appointment only and is between 10am and 2pm on the notified day. The preferred entry to Gibbs Farm for ticket holders is via "The Main Farm Entrance" 2421 Kaipara Coast Highway to minimise traffic congestion.

Entrance into Farm - Present your ticket/s

A Farm representative will meet you at the Farm entrance. Please present your ticket upon arrival. A Gibbs Farm booklet will be provided on arrival as a guide for sculpture identification and location, along with clarification of areas open to visitors.

Toilets

Toilets are provided and clearly marked on the map within the Gibbs Farm Guide booklrt. All other buildings are private and are not to be entered.

Animals / Pets / Gibbs Farm animals

Gibbs Farm contains several animals that roam free. Please do not feed or chase them. No animals or domestic pets are allowed - believe it or not, this includes dogs!

Photography is allowed.

Drones

Drones are prohibited to be used on Gibbs Farm

Access and vehicles

Access to all artworks is on foot, unless prior arrangements have been made with the General Manager. Please keep driving speeds below 25km per hour. Good walking shoes are necessary as the farm is a 3-4 hour walking experience. Visits are NOT weather dependent.

By raising awareness in the community of the prevalence of brain injury, we aim to be instrumental in reducing the number of injuries occurring, as well as providing education to the mainstream community that will enable people with brain injury to access the community more readily and with great success.
