Description

New Zealand GIS in Conservation (GiC) would like to invite you to attend our annual get-together for GIS volunteers, community conservation groups, iwi, stakeholders, and corporate sponsors on Tuesday, 19th September from 5.45pm-7.30pm. Join us to hear presentations from:

  • Aaria Dobson-Waitere - 2017 recepient of the SCGIS Scholarship
  • Kelvin Hastie - Predator-Free Wellington
  • Angus Hulme-Moir & Ian Harrison - Whitireia Lizard Restoration Project
  • Bonita Gestro - Update on GiC

Everyone is welcome, please RSVP by reserving a free ticket below so we know approximate numbers for catering.

Venue:

The Begonia House is located next to the Lady Norwood Rose Garden in the Botanic Gardens, Wellington. Please arrive 5.45pm for a 6pm start.


Transport/parking:

It's a short walk from Wellington CBD, and easily accessible by bus (or cable car). Parking is available along Glenmore Street or you can park by the Lady Norwood Rose Gardens (access via the Centennial entrance off Glenmore St).
