For the fourth year in a row, Media Design School will be hosting Girls in Games for secondary school students at its Auckland campus!
Girls in Games is best described as an immersive one-day workshop that covers the basics of Game Development, Game Art, and Game Design.
Over the course of the day the girls are introduced to GameMaker, a programme that allows its users to create awesome cross-platform games, and are exposed to tips and tricks of the trade by Media Design School's female Game Development faculty.
It is also an event that gives girls the opportunity to network with other female students from across the country who share similar interests to them in an environment which is safe and inclusive.
Junior Dev Day is designed for girls in Years 9-10 If you're in Years 11-13, check out our Senior Dev Day in September!
