Join Physiotherapist’s Rosa Virgara & Kylie Rankin and Naturopath & Nutritionist Kasey Willson, for an informative afternoon to equip you with holistic and evidence based support for a healthy pregnancy, birth and breastfeeding journey.


What ‘Glowing Mum’s Workshop’ will Include:

  • Physiotherapist assisted Pilates session, to offer you safe movement for your pregnant or breastfeeding body

  • Physiotherapy information and guidance to physically support your body through pregnancy, birth and beyond

  • Insight from personal experience of pregnancy, labour and breastfeeding

  • Nutrition to nourish you (such as energy, sleep, digestive and immune health) and the health of your baby throughout pregnancy and breastfeeding

  • Lifestyle support to nourish your body & mind through such a special, but taxing stage of your life

  • One-one-one question opportunity (the group will be small to create a more intimate environment)

  • Bonus class: opportunity to learn about essential oils for your third trimester, labour and breastfeeding

What You Will Get From the ‘Glowing Mums Workshop’:

  • Introduction to the child bearing year (9 months of pregnancy and 3 month postpartum)


  • Discussion about the pelvic floor – where it is, what it does, how to appropriately exercise it, how to manage it during pregnancy, immediately after delivery and for the rest of your life, to avoid pelvic floor issues such as stress incontinence


  • Guidance about back care during pregnancy and after delivery, (what to do, what to avoid and how to manage any aches and pains), recommendations around changes to everyday tasks to reduce the load on your back, demonstration of appropriate exercises to help back pain and on day assessment of exercise technique and muscle function


  • On day education and assessment of abdominal muscles, the best ways to reduce the impact of pregnancy on the abdomen, how to exercise the abdominal muscles safely after delivery and how to manage any muscle separation


  • Detailed guidance and demonstration about SAFE exercise to do whilst pregnant (based on the Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists guidelines), to keep you active and healthy during pregnancy as well as post delivery movement, depending on the type of delivery you have (vaginal delivery vs caesarean section


  • The importance of meeting nutritional requirements during pregnancy through your diet and where supplementation may be supportive to the health of you and your baby


  • Optional Bonus class: opportunity to learn about essential oils for your third trimester, labour and breastfeeding


  • During the seminar you will have adequate time to ask any questions that you have- anything

    weird and wonderful that you may have heard from old wives tales to something you’ve read on

    the internet. You can trust you will be getting a sound answer from an experienced practitioner.




About The Speakers


Rosa Virgara

Rosa is a qualified physiotherapist with near 10 years experience. Having worked in a major metropolitan hospital over this time, this has given her a wide variety of patients to care for and experiences to build her skill set on. Rosa has a special interest in women’s health physiotherapy which includes managing pregnancy related musculoskeletal symptoms including back pain and neck pain, with the appropriate exercise for the pregnant body and the postpartum period. In addition, Rosa specialises in the management of breastfeeding complications such as blocked ducts and mastitis. Along with supporting women during the childbearing year, Rosa also have extensive experience and knowledge in the management of pelvic floor issues such as stress or urge incontinence, prolapse management and post gynaecological surgical management.

Rosa also brings extensive life experience as a loving mother of 4 beautiful children and the journey of going through four very different pregnancies, deliveries and breast feeding periods, providing her with an insight only personal experience can bring.


Kasey Willson

Kasey graduated with qualifications in Naturopathy, Nutrition & Western Herbal Medicine and founded Aloe Health Naturopathy Clinic in 2009. Kasey began supporting patients of all ages and developed a passion and specialty to overcome women’s hormone and digestive challenges. Kasey incorporates lifestyle changes, nutritional and herbal medicine to support her patients to optimal digestive and hormonal health.

Over the past few years Kasey has written a number of informative e-books, e-courses and now her popular hardcopy Balanced, The Natural Way To Healthy Hormones book, guiding women to improve their hormone health and overall well-being.

Kasey will be discussing the importance of meeting important dietary requirements for your personal and babies health during pregnancy and breastfeeding.



Kylie Rankin

Kylie Rankin graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2000 at The University of South Australia. She is an experienced Musculoskeletal, Manual Physiotherapist having worked predominantly in Private Practice throughout her career. Kylie specialises in Pilates Rehabilitation and Women’s Health Physiotherapy and is now an educator for Polestar Pilates. She works closely with a number of GPs, Gynaecologists and Obstetricians to aid in treatment of women during antenatal/postnatal periods as well as assisting to treat Incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse and a range of women’s health issues. In 2002 Kylie started her training in Pilates through DMA and the APMA. She has furthered her expertise gaining her Diploma through Polestar Pilates International and becoming an assistant educator for their training program. Kylie has a special interest in Core Stability, Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation and correction of movement dysfunction through using the Pilates Method.

Kylie will be taking you through a pilates session on the day, to structurally support your body throughout pregnancy.
