Join us for the 6th GREEN Grid Conference!
Held on the UC campus, this concluding conference will present the main findings of the project since 2012.
Keynote speakers:
- Richard Hobbs, Transpower General Manager Strategy
- Paul Deavoll, Orion General Manager Customer and Stakeholder
- Vince Smart, EECA Senior Advisor Strategy and Programme
The day will also include UC and University of Otago research team members presenting their latest outcomes, and will end with a panel session on the benefits and challenges of using distributed technologies for new demand response/grid services.

What is GREEN Grid?
GREEN Grid is officially titled Renewable Energy and the Smart Grid Project, funded by MBIE and the Electricity Industry. Its main focus is on managing supply variability of renewable energy in the network and cost effective, functional and safe distribution network.
