Event description

Description

As part of the Auckland Heritage Festival and Artweek 2019, Grayson Goffe will be leading a walking tour that highlights Māori public art, architecture and design. The original research for this hikoi stems from the public art publication, Te Paparahi, Toi Māori - Walks in the City, a free booklet that highlights Māori public art, architecture and design that defines our city centre.

Each hikoi will commence from the St Kevins Arcade entrance at 183 Karangahape Road and will be about 1.5hrs long ending in Takutai Square, Britomart.
