About this event

Sheikh Wael Ibrahim, an internationally renowned educator and speaker on addiction recovery, self-development, and Islamic values, is visiting New Zealand for 12 days in September 2025 to deliver a structured program of workshops, lectures, and training sessions across major cities. His visit will address urgent community needs by raising awareness of digital addictions, strengthening family relationships through pre-marriage and parenting education, and equipping local leaders with faith-based tools to guide youth and families. With a focus on collaboration between mosques and institutions, the program aims to create both immediate impact, through open dialogue, healing, and guidance, and long-term transformation by building community capacity, resilience, and leadership, particularly around sensitive issues such as conflict, addiction, and family well-being.
