This Symposium is an invite-only event for Challenge-funded researchers.

A Better Start National Science Challenge’s multi-disciplinary teams of researchers will share the latest developments in their major research projects, aimed at addressing the serious health and wellbeing issues faced by young New Zealanders.

A Better Start’s mission is to find practical, evidence-based solutions that make a measurable difference for our tamariki – helping them to have a healthy weight, be confident at reading and learning, and have good mental health.
