Heart and Soul is a dining event hosted by the Culinary Arts students of AUT, for the purpose of creating a memorable experience and raising funds for Voices of Hope

Voices of Hope is a mental health charity founded in 2017 by Genevieve Mora and Jazz Thornton. Using their personal battles with mental illness and a passion for storytelling, they've built a global community that contributes to an evolving dialogue on mental health.

Through comfort foods, we hope to invoke the feeling of happiness and relaxation in support of mental health

Join us in bringing people together for a special evening to create a memorable and positive experience through our collective culinary experience learnt at AUT

Please note that all tickets must be purchased through Eventbrite.

Also note that due to the nature of the event, we can not change the dishes listed below to cater for dietary requirements or preferences.

Frequently asked questions

Is parking available?

Limited parking is available but bookings are required. Please contact the organiser (piko.and.four.seasons.restaurants@aut.ac.nz) prior to the event date if you would like to book a car park.

What is your refund policy?

A refund of the ticket purchase price is available up until 24 hours before the start of the event.

Can you change your dishes to accommodate dietary requirements or preferences?

We are unable to alter the dishes presented on the menu. This is due to the nature of the event, and the training spaces used. Sorry about that.

Can I buy tickets at the door?

All tickets must be purchased through Eventbrite.

Will you accept cash if I make a purchase that is not covered by the ticket price?

We can not accept cash as all AUT food and beverage outlets only accept payments through the use of credit cards or Eftpos.

If I'm running late, what is the latest that I can sit down and place my food order.

7:00pm is the latest time that your food order can get into the kitchen.

Why do you have so many restrictions on your event?

This is a one-off event that is designed for a student assessment as part of an AUT course. As such, it is not possible to operate this event along the same lines as a regular food and beverage outlet.

How will I receive my tickets?

Your tickets will be available via the Eventbrite website using your Eventbrite account, which is able to be made when tickets are purchased. Tickets are also able to be viewed via the Eventbrite app.

The Four Seasons restaurant is the AUT School of Hospitality and Tourism’s premier Training Restaurant.

 The Four Seasons restaurant, along with Piko café, are often used as a venue for our Bachelor of Culinary Arts students, as well as our Bachelor of International Hospitality Management students, to host both their first-year production events and their third-year showcase events. These vary from fundraising galas, pop up restaurants, and other special events fully planned and operated by our students under guidance from our world class lecturers and restaurant team.
