The Auckland duo have a brand new album out and they bring two new sets of gale-force songs played on trumpets, tubas, bass clarinets, saxophones and trombones spiced with an array of exotic percussion. Tim Stewart and Nick Atkinson are joined by multi-instrumentalist and brass pioneer Finn Scholes, of Carnivorous Plant Society fame, for a unique night of blues, stomp, soul and jazz at the Rotorua Museum. The three panting horn men will work through the highlights of their Hopetoun Brown repertoire as well as peppering the set with some reworked classics from artists as diverse as Howlin' Wolf and The Eurhythmics. The high stud and warm resonant construction of the Rotorua Museum is the perfect venue to showcase the bluesy harmony and soulful tones of this inspiring ensemble, brought to you by Rotorua's very own Rogue Stage!
