Event description
Join Heritage New Zealand Pouhere Taonga and our panel of experts for a free online event on how to research your heritage house.

About this event

Discover the secrets behind your heritage home with tips from Jonathan Newport, Archives New Zealand; Emerson Vandy, National Library of New Zealand; and Marguerite Hill, Auckland Council on how to make the most of the resources available online.

From archival information to digitised content such as old newspapers, our panel of experts will take you through where to find the information you need to build a picture of your home’s heritage. A Q & A session will also be included at the end where you can ask your questions on researching your home.

How to research your home is a free online webinar hosted by Heritage New Zealand Pouhere Taonga. To join us on Thursday 9 June from 1-2pm you will need to register with Eventbrite and book your spot. An email will be sent with a link to the webinar closer to the date.

Our webinar will be hosted on Zoom a free online meetings tool. If you don’t already have Zoom you can sign up and download it here: https://zoom.us/

If you have any problems getting into the meeting on the day, please email marketingadvisor@heritage.org.nz.
