This workshop is part of a series of highly engaging, evidence-based FREE interactive workshops and symposia that help people better understand how to respond to inequities, challenge their practice and take school performance to new levels. Improving student learning and wellbeing is at the heart of our impact.
This free workshop is hosted by your local Health Promoting Schools (HPS) team. The workshop is open to all school community stakeholders; Principals, whanau, students, support staff, board and teachers and the agencies that support them. Be prepared to ask the critical questions about why disparity exists for certain groups and then be courageous about seeking out the answers in new places.
This workshop is grounded in evidence and practices that work in New Zealand school communities like yours. We offer new places to look for answers, new ways to collect and evaluate information, new classroom, leadership and system practices.
In this collaborative problem solving forum we share:
- The One Idea that I have tried (in order to improve an outcome) in our school community?
- What happened as a result?
- To what extent did I achieve authentic collaborative design of the action and impact measures?
- Where to next?
