HR 'STARTING EMPLOYMENT - DIFFERENT CONTRACTS & THE 90-DAY TRIAL PERIOD'
Thu 11 May 2017, 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM NZST
Whenever you employ someone, you are entering into a relationship that is governed by framework of legislation that you will need to abide by. One such statutory requirement is that every member of your team must have a clearly written Employment Agreement, irrespective of whether they are permanent, fixed term or casual employees.
During this workshop we shall cover:
- The different 'types' of employment under the Employment Relations Act (2000);
- The Employment Agreement - what it must include and how to make it more meaningful;
- Employee or Independent Contractor?
- Using the 90-day Trial Period.
