CONTRIBUTE FOR YOUR TICKET
7x7 is run on the premise of sharing and connecting. As a small way of 'giving back' we would like to give our attendees the opportunity to donate towards The Free Store's annual fundraiser in exchange for your ticket. Director Benjamin Johnson spoke at 7x7 #5 in August. TFS is a non-profit organisation that daily redistributes perfectly edible surplus food to those that determine themselves in need of it, right here in the heart of Wellington City.
7x7 was launched in 2000 with a focus on technology, entertainment and design. Brian Sweeney, Chairman of international communications consultancy, SweeneyVesty was inspired when he saw a speaker receive a standing ovation after delivering a 7-minute presentation at a TED Conference. Together with filmmaker Jan Bieringa he developed the forum. After an eight-year hiatus 7x7 has returned to Wellington, starting in March 2016 to deliver a concentrated mix of new ideas, success stories and provocations.
