About this event
A multifaceted approach to enabling research impact in child health
Join Ken to hear about the award-winning organizational approach to enabling research impact at the Melbourne Children’s campus.*
Achieving research impact is central to improving children's health and wellbeing. But much health research fails to influence practice or policy, or can take up to seventeen years to do so. The funding landscape has also changed, with researchers increasingly required to plan for, assess and articulate their impact.
This webinar will explore the program of organisational change that responded to these impact challenges.
Ken will describe a multifaceted approach to understanding impact needs within context, and developing and piloting evidence-informed enabling strategies and support. This work has involved establishing networks, providing training and resources, partnering with teams, showcasing good practice, and embedding a culture of learning throughout.
The session will be interactive with discussion encouraged and a Q&A session to follow.
- Date: Monday 19 April
- Time: 12.30 – 13:30 NZST
