Event description
Gain powerful tools and strategies to enhance your coaching toolkit when dealing with clients self-doubt and imposter syndrome

About this event

Known as the Imposter Syndrome expert I’m sharing my secrets with other coaches for the first time – don’t miss out. Over the last few years I’ve written three books on this topic and taught hundreds of workshops, appeared in the media and on the TEDx stage. Now I’m sharing that knowledge and practical tools for you to use with your clients.

Many of our clients present with self-doubt, lack of confidence or imposter syndrome. It can be the reason for relationship troubles, being unhappy at work or simply not making good life choices. Including, the tendency to overwork to prove ourselves, perfectionist tendencies and beating ourselves up when we fall short.

It’s likely to be something that comes up for your clients and maybe even yourself! I know this has been true for me and the many clients I’ve coached. This train the trainer type workshop will help you understand how to help clients with Imposter Syndrome (that’s 70% of us according to the International Journal of Behavioural Science).

I’ve been a coach for a decade now and want to help other coaches by sharing my expertise in this space. I’ll show you the research behind Imposter Syndrome and the tools and strategies that I teach in my workshop. Including:

• What is Imposter Syndrome? - the theory and the research

• What does it look like and sounds like? - How do I teach clients to recognise it and understand the impacts?

• How does it manifest and what impact does it have on your clients?

• The different categories that exist within Imposter Syndrome

• The power of story telling

• Teaching clients the neuroscience behind the brains negativity bias

• How to know and celebrate your strengths and successes with practical exercises

• Perfectionism– how it’s linked, the impacts and how to moderate it

• Practical strategies you can teach clients to offset Imposter Syndrome

These techniques will complement your existing coaching styles and can be integrated into many other coaching modalities depending on your training and models you use.

If you’d like to gain some powerful tools to enhance your coaching toolkit when dealing with clients self-doubt and imposter syndrome this is the workshop for you.

Includes resources and bonus material that us available to support you and your clients long after this session.

Organiser Jess Stuart

Organiser of Imposter Syndrome Secrets for Coaches

Empowering women to be their best.

I help busy, high-achieving career women find more time for themselves, reprioritise what matters, build resilience, beat the feeling of being overwhelmed, keep calm in the chaos, discover their true selves, and believe in themselves above all else.

I do it all with inspiring books, practical on-line courses, empowering workshops, motivational talks and one-to-one coaching. This is based on 15 years in senior HR roles and two decades of coaching, as well as my own personal experiences.

I am a highly acclaimed event speaker, and a regular writer for online magazines. I have been featured on TV3, BBC, RNZ, Dominion Post, Stuff, Tiny Buddha, Elephant Journal, and NZ Business Magazine (so far!).

And most importantly, I believe that tapping into your potential doesn’t mean doing more or having to change yourself. It’s uncovering what’s already there and being enough as you are. I will help you discover the steps to define your own success without having to be a CEO or PM, or adding even more to your to-do list.

Nothing lights me up more than seeing my clients uncover their full potential, define their own success, and have those ‘aha’ moments that help them be their best.
