About this Event

Sharing or disseminating knowledge and providing inputs to problem solving is not always an easy task, nor is the transfer of knowledge from one part of an organisation to another – so how can we make this simpler?

Proud B.linc tenant and agri-food Broadcaster, MC, Speaker and Host, Sarah Perriam, has a passion for improving the 'knowledge transfer' of science to farmers in a more palatable media format of podcasts & social media videos. And through her new show, 'Sarah's Country', she aims to connect our curious consumers and communities with New Zealand's passionate food & fibre producers points of difference to imported produce.

In partnership with Sarah and Perriam Media, B.linc has launched studio space within our headquarters,  B.linc Workshop. We would like to invite you to join us and hear from Sarah about how you can get involved and to learn more about her vision on how companies can more easily transfer knowledge and engage with their stakeholders either live or on-demand.

This event is a great opportunity to connect with the Lincoln precinct and share your focus, priorities and challenges, as well as to understand where the focus of their research lies. Creating the energy to move the future of agri forward requires the connections between the organisations on the precinct to be grown and strengthened.

The B.linc VIBE event series is an opportunity to hear from one of the wider Lincoln precinct companies about their business and to touch base, reconnect and build connections across the precinct.

About the Speaker

Speaker: Sarah Perriam

Sarah previously co-hosted ‘Rural Exchange’ on Magic Talk and her Friday ‘rural’ segment with Duncan Garner on the AM Show as a platform to regularly talk about the big issues in agri-business. She is now working on new media endeavours in the agri-food space, including the launch of her new podcast – naked.hungry sober – targeted at curious consumers and passion producers.

In 2018, she hosted the 50th FMG Young Farmer of the Year live-broadcast on Newshub.co.nz and was nominated as a finalist in the Westpac Women of Influence.

She has recently been involved as a speaker & MC at many events around New Zealand, including the 2019 Boma Grow Summit, bringing professional pre-production management and time-management at the event with her years as a producer and event manager.

Sarah hopes that with a public trend towards more critical thinking and thought lead journalism the primary sector is on the right track to changing the perception of farmers to passionate food producers.
