Event description
What really matters to you?

About this event

Sometimes it can feel like life is lacking in meaning, that we're just going through the motions, living on autopilot. Sometimes we can feel a bit lost or unsure of ourselves.

Intentional living means living consciously. It means learning and examining what you believe and value. Looking at the broader context, it means living in a manner consistent with your sense of self, and giving a feeling of meaning to your life.

Knowing what matters most to you can bring clarity, happiness, motivation and firmer ground for decision-making - because your decisions will be based on those things that are most important to you.

One of the '5 Ways to Wellbeing' is to Take Notice and this workshop will help you to 'Take Notice' of what you value in life, help you focus on and find what truly matters to you, and to consider how to use that knowledge day-to-day to improve relationships, communication, self-esteem and happiness.

Rebecca Perkins is facilitating this workshop as part of Keep Learning Mid Canterbury's 5 Ways to Wellbeing series, put on during Mental Health Awareness Week (starting September 27 2021). Each day there is an event focusing on one of the 5 Ways to Wellbeing.

This event is suitable and open to adults of any age, but places are limited so please register to book your spot. It is free but for those who would like to give a koha to the Trust, towards the running of this event and others like it, there will be a koha box.

Organiser Keep Learning Mid Canterbury

Organiser of Intentional Living

Keep Learning Mid Canterbury provides opportunities for Adult Community Education and is run by Connecting Mid Canterbury Charitable Trust. Each school term we put out a programme of approximately 10 learning events, open to the whole community. Volunteers & professionals share their skills and passions with others who come along - some events are free while others have a fee. Sometimes Mid Canterbury TimeBank members can pay in time credits and other community members pay with money.

Follow the Keep Learning Mid Canterbury Facebook Page to see what other events we have organised.
