International Women's Day '26. Power, Performance, and Potential.
Overview
You’re invited to our third annual International Women’s Day lunch.
This year, we're diving into a powerful theme...
Power, Performance, and Potential: Stories, Spaces & Capital for Women to Thrive
Why women's leadership, entrepreneurship and wellbeing are good for everyone – and how we back that voice.
We believe International Women's Day is a moment to celebrate progress, but also to look honestly at where the work isn't finished.
The data tells a clear story:
- Research shows women‑led businesses often outperform, yet women still receive a fraction of funding and top leadership roles.
- In major markets, women hold around 20% of executive team roles - and far fewer CEO positions.
- 52% of women report worrying about being judged when exercising, for more than 40%, that feeling is strong enough that they don't start at all.
This lunch is our way of taking the day seriously - not as optics, but as a live question:
If women have the power, performance and potential, what needs to shift in our stories, our spaces and our capital for women to truly thrive?
That's the conversation we're hosting.
The conversation
Power, Performance, and Potential: Stories, Spaces & Capital for Women to Thrive, hosted by Rochelle Moffitt in conversation with Madison Malone, Amber Taylor and Anna Mowbray, will explore three lenses:
Representation - Stories
Who tells the story shapes what we believe is possible. Drawing on the idea that "until the lion learns how to write, every story will glorify the hunter," we'll look at women in media and storytelling with Madison Malone.
Participation & Confidence – Spaces
From the Guardian’s finding that 52% of women worry about being judged when exercising, to the design of inclusive fitness experiences, Amber Taylor, Chief Digital Product Officer at Les Mills International, will explore how movement, technology and community can build confidence and long‑term wellbeing.
Power & Capital – Business & Leadership
Research shows women‑led businesses often outperform, yet women still receive a fraction of funding and top leadership roles. Entrepreneur and business leader Anna Mowbray will unpack what this means for leadership, investment and the next generation of women founders.
Each speaker will take the mic for 20 minutes, then we will have time for Q+A, before lunch is served at 1:15pm.
Together, we'll connect the dots between the stories we tell, the spaces we shape, and where the money flows, and we'll leave with practical ways to back women's voices, ventures and wellbeing.
After the session, stay on for lunch, connection, and a celebration of the women in our community.
Why this room matters
This lunch is one room, on one day, where we look at three of the levers that actually move the needle:
- The stories that shape what seems possible
- The spaces where women either shrink or fully show up
- The capital that decides whose ideas and leadership are scaled
