About this Event

Hannah Bremner offers a series of 3 glass casting workshops, specifically focused on small scaled kiln formed glass casting techniques (warm glass). These workshops will provide a foundation for further exploring the magic of glass as a small scale sculptural medium.

Times: 9.30am to 3.30pm (apart from Saturday 15th – which is a half day), with 1 hour lunch break.

In this introductory 2 and a 1/2 day workshop you will learn how to cast from a wax or clay positive, how to create a hollow open form and design (by pasting powdered glass in to a mould), how to create a refractory mould (that can be fired in a kiln and broken apart).
