Why The Map of Meaning?
The key benefits are:
Learning and working with this academically rigourous, profound, gentle and powerful method triggers inherent motivations for meaning and anchors these for pursuit of sustainable visionary outcomes in being and doing in the world.

The Map reflects what is rather than what should be:
• Meaning is a natural part of being human
• Therefore the Map of Meaning easily makes sense to people
• However, those with strong existing mental frameworks sometimes have trouble with it.

The Map is practical:
• Given that meaning seems such an abstract concept, the Map of Meaning shows how practically human beings make sense of it.
• It works in the real world
• It produces real results quickly and easily
• It makes a real difference

The Map makes visible that which is invisible and/or what has not been visible before:
• Makes visible what would otherwise be invisible.
• Allows us to have a more practical and rational response to what was before largely an issue of emotion

The Map is about self responsibility, self leadership, self power and involves others when we look at being and doing collective meaning:
• Put words to what is important to us
• Own our beliefs and how these are lived out in the world
• Own our life to this point
• Be with what is and what is not
• Communicate with others about what matters deeply to us
• Be with our similarities and our differences
• See others as meaningful
• Work with all paths to meaning in view
• Relate to others from wholeness
• Design from wholeness
• Fall into order and integration and become whole, healed
• Have a framework for analysis and synthesis
• Make decisions to increase meaningfulness
• Constructively co-create solutions that are meaningful to everyone
• Develop strategies and take responsibility as adults in the world

The Map leads us as People and within and across Organisations, Communities that are more:
• Grounded and visionary
• Discerning and humane
• Energetic and peaceful
• Playful and committed
• Responsive and thoughtful
• Productive and caring
• Creative and responsible
