Dhargyey Buddhist Centre's popular 12 week Introduction to Buddhism Course is back for 2021!
The course runs once a week over 12 weeks on a Monday evening and will give attendees the opportunity to gain a good overview of the Mahayana Buddhist path. The course content is aimed at people who are new Buddhists, and/or anyone who is interested in learning more about Buddhist philosophy and psychology from a Tibetan perspective.
Dates/times for the first2021course are : Every Monday from Mon 12th April 2021 to Monday 28th June 2021 inclusive. Sessions are scheduled to run from 7pm - 8pm ( but sometimes we get a little involved in the discussion so it may go over time) .
Registering through the eventbrite link registers you for the entire 12 weeks
The course will be facilitated by our wonderful and very knowledgeable translator, Losang Dawa. Losang will cover a new topic each week. There will also be time for conversation and questions.
We do request that attendees commit to attending the full 12 weeks of the course to enable them to maximise this opportunity.
We do not charge for our beginners courses. However, the Centre is run on donations mainly by volunteers and any donations that are made to the Centre on the course nights or through the links below to help cover our running costs are greatly appreciated.
Donations can also be made via the link on our webpage https://www.dhargyeybuddhism.com/
and through the direct givealittle link :
