Introduction to Xero for Non-Profits

Many not for profit organisations are moving to cloud-based accounting software, or considering it. Xero is one of the most well-known options, offering a not for profit discount. But is it worth the investment?
Join us for a hands-on introduction to the basic features of Xero that is tailored to the needs of community groups and clubs who are considering this question. These features:
- Bank reconciliations
- Managing of invoicing including membership subscriptions
- Dashboard reporting
- Managing financial controls
Using one of the Massey University computer labs you will get the opportunity to explore the Xero demo company under the guidance of our students using videos and other resources provided by Xero U.
The workshop will also touch on the benefits, costs and limitations of Xero.
More than one person per organisation is welcome. You will each be assigned a computer. We will send you instructions to set up a Xero demo account in advance of the training.
This training is not designed for those who are already confident using the basic features of Xero.
