Event description
IPS co-reflection for people who have completed IPS core training

About this event

Participants registering to attend should be familiar with Intentional Peer Support having already attended at least an IPS Core training- these sessions are to help you grow your practice beyond the training. These co-reflection sessions are also suitable for IPS trainers who want to continue to reflect on their practice.

To secure a place in an online co-reflection, please purchase a ticket at $10 or consider a donation in any amount that works for your budget- we always appreciate organizations who can pay a higher donation for their staff to attend. There are several dates to select from.

To deepen your practice of IPS, the utilisation of Co-Reflection is essential. IPS offers online co-reflection to those practicing IPS independently who desire support to co-reflect. This time is intended for those who have completed at least the Core training and are actively practicing Intentional Peer Support. It is suggested that co-reflection is practiced at least once per month.

IPS co-reflection is a process that we can use to help each other reflect on our practice (how we’re doing what we say we want to be doing). It is about us creating expertise together through a process of learn, practice, reflection. It is designed to model the peer support relationship so that we are practicing the principles at all levels of our relationships. Co-reflection leads to increased levels of personal development and to deepening relationships.  (Intentional Peer Support Co-Reflection Guide, 2015:2)

The online IPS co-reflection runs for 90 minutes, the sessions are interactive and will be facilitated by an experienced IPS Central trainer. For best experience, registrants should have access to a computer that has both video and sound. These are interactive sessions, not webinars and so having video enabled is important for maintaining connection. Instructions and a link to the meeting will be forwarded to you at least 24 hours before the date/time of your co-reflection.

All meeting times are offered based on NZDT. To do the time zone maths for where you are, we recommend to assure that you're selecting a time that works for you.
