Presentation: By Daniel Oakes, ASA, TfNSW on “Signalling Principles and Design Criteria – Evolution of the application whilst understanding the risks”
Daniel Oakes is the Principal Engineer, Technical Standards with Asset standards Authority, Transport for NSW. Daniel has over 25 years of experience in the industry, both UK and Australia. His experience covers the complete range of signalling asset lifecycle.
For the past 5 years Daniel is looking after the signalling principles and design requirements (ASA), recent involvement with establishing a standards development framework within the digital systems space as the new systems such as ETCS Level 2 are deployed.
