IRSE Australasia Sydney Local Network Committee invites you to join us for a presentation titled "Sydney Metro – Adopting new technologies for Australia’s first fully-automated railway" by Oliver Fried from Sydney Metro.
Oliver Fried is the Program Technical Director with Sydney Metro.
Sydney Metro is a new world-class railway for Sydney. Services start in the city’s north west in the first half of 2019 with 13 stations and a new generation of metro trains. From the north west, metro rail is being extended under Sydney Harbour, through new underground city stations and beyond to the south west. This presentation will provide an overview of Sydney Metro and look at the technical applications for Australia’s first fully-automated railway.
