Family owned and operated, Jaco and his wife Sandra are the magicians behind the Merekara wine label, based in Marlborough’s Awatere Valley and surrounds. They produce pure expressions of Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
Jaco and Sandra are the essence of energy-bunnies bursting with excitement about the wine industry, their wines, their family and life in general. You can feel the colour of the sky changing when you are in their presence. A happy bunch adding sparkles to this world.
