Kai workshops: No dig gardening
Event Information
About this event
In this workshop we'll focus on the 'No Dig Gardening' method. No Dig Gardening allows you to convert a grassy area into a productive garden with little physical work. It also allows the natural organisms in soil to be undisturbed and thrive, to the benefit of your plants.
We'll also look at alternative approaches to building a garden.
Location: We'll meet you at the Kukutaaruhe community garden - which is visible at the end of the carpark, accessed from College Place which is off Bankwood Road.
Please call 02040707511 if you need assistance.
Facilitator is Michael Heiler, our resident gardener and aborist who takes a permaculture approach to the relationship of food growing & the environment.
