Kanohi ki kanohi– Meet the Minister Michael Wood
Event Information
About this event
We all know that Tauranga is beset with transport issues arising from its rapid expansion in recent years, compounded by having the biggest and busiest seaport in the country.
The slow progress being made in construction and repurposing of the surrounding state highway system is increasingly putting pressure on the local roading infrastructure.
Many of us will have first hand experience with resulting traffic snarls and delays – and worryingly, not just at peak times.
Michael Wood is the Minister responsible for Transport and this is an opportunity to hear his thoughts on Tauranga’s transport future.
