Kids Gone Fishin' Queens Wharf
Event Information
About this event
In partnership with Blue Light, Kids Gone Fishin’ Queens Wharf Fishing invites fishers, whānau and the fishing-curious to try their hand at wharf fishing.
Bait, hand lines and instruction are included, and there’ll be a free sausage sizzle to keep the wolves at bay.
Please come prepared for the weather - bring a hat, sunscreen and water if it’s hot, and something warm if it’s forecast to be chilly. You’re also welcome to BYO rods, lines and fishing gear if you wish.
A note on safety - staff are first aid trained and there will be a trained surf lifesaver on-site, but please keep a close eye on your kids, parental supervision of children is required at all times.
To help manage numbers we will be running two sessions - one from 8:30am - 10:00am, and one from 10:30am - 12:00pm. Grab a FREE ticket now!
