Description

Join CFA Society NZ for the launch of its new Associate Membership - a local membership focused on raising ethics awareness in the investment industry based on the CFA Code of Conduct and Professional Standards.

The new ethics-focussed membership aligns the globally recognised CFA brand with the local market.

It enables finance professionals who are non-CFA Charterholders to come under CFA Institute’s code of ethics, and distinguish themselves in a competitive market.

Let’s build a better world for investing

CFA Institute leads the investment profession’s thinking in ethics, capital market integrity, and excellence of practice. It believes that the purpose of finance is to lay the foundation for the ultimate benefit of society. It is simply not enough to talk about a better world for investors — professionals must take actual steps to make it happen.

Joining the NZ Associate Membership facilitates that first important step. We are pleased to be extending the benefits of CFA’s resources and expertise to a wider audience within New Zealand.

The membership requires online ethics training and adhering to a professional code of conduct. Members will become part of CFA NZ’s active community, with regular seminars and events featuring global speakers.

The guest speaker at this event is Maria Wilton. Complimentary drinks and refreshments will be provided.

We hope you are able to attend, and we look forward to sharing more about this exciting initiative. Please register below.

About the speaker:

Maria Wilton CFA Deputy Chair of Infrastructure Victoria, Director of Victorian Funds Management Corporation, Chair of the Industry Advisory Board of the Australian Centre for Financial Studies, Chair of the National Diversity Committee.

Guest speaker Maria Wilton is the former Managing Director and Chair of Franklin Templeton Investments Australia and Senior Director of International Advisory Services - a role she held for 12 years, also covering activities in New Zealand.
