Event description
Leading Innovation in Food Waste: Meadow Mushrooms

About this Event

Meadow Mushrooms is New Zealand's leading producer of mushrooms, Christchurch locals, this innovative company is leading the way when it comes to food waste reduction, sustainable resources and consumer feedback.

Globally food waste is a big issue and ensuring we can help those who need it most is important too. Meadow Mushrooms donates over 7,000 kg of mushrooms to the foodbank each year, which is around 70,000 servings. Their sustainability planning covers environmental, social and economic factors.

This event is a great opportunity to hear from Miranda Burdon, Chair of Meadow Mushrooms on their vision around food waste reduction and how you too can be involved. Creating the energy to move the future of agri forward requires the connections between the organisations on the precinct to be grown and strengthened.

The Blinc VIBE event series is an opportunity to hear from one of the wider Lincoln precinct companies about their business and to touch base, reconnect and build connections across the precinct.
