LEANZ Wellington seminar and end of year celebration
Event Information
About this Event

Topic:
Earlier this year NASA went to market for commercial companies to provide proposals for the collection of space resources (https://blogs.nasa.gov/bridenstine/2020/09/10/space-resources-are-the-key-to-safe-and-sustainable-lunar-exploration/). This opens up a new frontier of ownership and property rights issues in space. How do we think about assigning rights in space, what governance is required, and what economic opportunities does it bring?
Join our panel to get right back to first principles on these core issues. In this seminar we will have three panel members speaking for 10-15 minutes each, with a further 10-15 minutes for questions and discussion.
At the start of the event we will also be announcing the winner of our essay competition. Come at 12.00 for a light lunch to celebrate the end of the year, with the seminar kicking off at 12.30.
You can also connect to this seminar via Zoom. Details will be sent prior to the meeting
