Let's Talk Nutrition

About this Event

Come join us for a special event with performance dietitian Conrad Goodhew.

LET'S NOT OVER COMPLICATE THIS EATING THING

The field of nutrition has always been about losing weight, meal plans or an argument of what we should and shouldn't eat. Unfortunately, this is now creating confusion in an area that is relatively straight forward, it is just about obtaining information that is specific to you.

Nutrition should influence us in 3 equal ways; Physical, Mental/Emotional, and Social. This is all intertwined by our beliefs and values. If one side is pulling too hard, the whole lot will be out of sync, and we are seeing more of this with the influence of poor nutrition advice.

Whether you are an athlete, weekend warrior or someone that needs to detoxify your relationship with food, Conrad will give you advice to help you to get more out of food than just a change in your weight.

You may have been told to give up dairy, cut carbs, stop eating meat...

Conrad is able to break this down and discuss the evidence behind these claims. Here to iron out those diet myths once and for all!

• Fad diets and how they work

• Are superfoods really a thing?

• Weight Gain/Loss

• Understanding your metabolism

• Gut health

• How stress and sleep affect us day to day

• Understanding your menstrual cycle (a special one for the girls).

Conrad brings a straightforward and easy to understand approach to nutrition without sugar coating anything.
