Important Information for the First Aid Training Course:

Course Details:

The First Aid Training course is scheduled to begin promptly at 12:00pm and conclude at 4:00pm.

Location: FACT Training Room Christchurch, Unit 1, 7 Burdale Street, Riccarton 8011.

Arrival Time:

We kindly request that you arrive at the course location approx 11:45am. This early arrival will allow you ample time to find convenient parking and prepare yourself for the start of the course.

Dress Code:

Please ensure that you wear suitable attire for this course, as it involves physical activities. Opt for flexible clothing and avoid skirts and baggy tops for your comfort and ease of movement.

Shift Booking:

Once you have enrolled in the course and your name is on the attendee list, you will be marked as unavailable on Alayacare for the entire day. This measure ensures that your coordinators cannot schedule you for any shifts on that day. In case you are already booked for a shift on the training day, we will notify the client and arrange for a replacement.

Payment Policy:

The cost of the course is covered by Life Plus. However, it's crucial to note that if you fail to attend the course, withdraw within 5 days prior to the course, or arrive late and are not admitted, you will be responsible for the payment of your spot in the course. The deduction will be arranged with your coordinator.

Certificate Retrieval:

Following the completion of the training, your First Aid certificate will be received through FactCo. If you wish to obtain a copy of your certificate, kindly coordinate this request with your designated coordinator.

Certificate Validity:

Your First Aid certificate will remain valid for a period of two years from the date of your training.

Important Notes:

If any participant experiences flu-like symptoms, please notify your assigned coordinator as soon as possible and refrain from attending the training session. The instructor may request that you leave the training for the safety and well-being of the group.

If you have an injury that would hinder your participation in the practical aspects of the course, kindly inform your instructor on the day of the course.

We look forward to a productive and safe training session. Thank you for your cooperation and dedication to First Aid preparedness.
