Step into the elegance of the 1800s and design your very own miniature Victorian living room in this immersive, imagination-filled workshop at the beautiful heritage house Highwic, in the heart of Newmarket! What style will you try to evoke as you pair rich colours with ornate furnishings and fabrics, ‘earthly elegance’ or ‘moody luxe’ perhaps? – we can’t wait to see!

This is a special opportunity to peek behind the scenes at this wonderful historic house and see some of the dazzling objects that adorned a lady’s dressing table in the early Auckland Victorian era including stunning jewellery, silver toilette sets and more!

The original home was built in 1862 for the Buckland family, and is located in beautiful grounds that are open for the public to explore and enjoy. Parking is available on site, or next door at Westfield Newmarket.
