Manaaki Manawa is the new University of Auckland Centre for Heart Research.
Manaaki Manawa means “preserving the life force of the heart”. Established in 2019, Manaaki Manawa is the only Centre for Heart Research in the North Island and hosts Pūtahi Manawa | Healthy Hearts for Aotearoa New Zealand Centre of Research Excellence (HHANZ CoRE).
This session is intended for you to meet the researchers who are part of our kaupapa and explore potential summer studentship options along with opportunities to engage with community outreach and education.
The session will be followed by Pizza in the Grafton Campus 505 Atrium.
