Join us for the third screening of our Mardi Cinéma cycle dedicated to the legendary Alain Resnais, a true master of cinematic surprise and reinvention. After Mon oncle d’Amérique and On connaît la chanson, we now turn to one of his late, delightfully whimsical works: Les Herbes Folles (2009).
🎥 Les Herbes FollesA playful, poetic film exploring chance encounters and the unpredictable twists of life. When a stolen wallet brings together an impulsive dentist and a curious retiree, an improbable adventure begins — full of eccentric humour, philosophical reflections, and Resnais’s unmistakable touch of fantasy. Starring Sabine Azéma and André Dussollier, this film is a gentle reminder that life’s weeds can bloom into something wildly beautiful.
